But, one of the greatest untapped resources comes from utilizing the potential capabilities of people. Capitalized assets have a possibility of 50-75% improvement (finite return), but human capability is unlimited and may represent the best path to achieving organizational greatness. Learn the latest research findings on Return on Investment in leadership development. 9:50 – 10:40 a.m. – Creating a Compelling Purpose – Todd Davis, Vice-President of Talent and Development, FranklinCovey: Have you ever had a job where tasks were clear but purpose was not? To unleash their teams’ full talent, they must appreciate each generation, whether they are Builders, Boomers, Generation X or Millennials. Leaders cannot appreciate all generations until they understand the challenges each has to overcome. Learn how and why generations work differently and want to be rewarded differently. 12:15 – 1:00 p.m. – Lunch (Provided) 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. – Leading Generations in the Workplace - Haydn Shaw, Senior Leadership and Generational Consultant, FranklinCovey: Four generations in the workplace at one time has created one of the most difficult leadership dilemmas in the history of business. Learn what motivates each of the four generations, how they learn and how to inspire them. 2:15 – 4:15 p.m. – Lessons Learned from a Senior Leader - Dr. Stephen R. Covey, Co-Founder and Vice Chairman, FranklinCovey: "Old school” leadership styles have become irrelevant in the Knowledge Worker Age. People cannot be managed as if they are simply assets – or worse, liabilities – viewed in the organizational scheme on the same level as office furniture or computers. In order to unleash the potential of their teams, today’s leaders must see workers as "whole people” (body, mind, heart and spirit) who have a unique contribution to make in moving the organization forward. Leaders must manage the knowledge each worker brings to the table, not just the tasks those workers are responsible for completing. The cost for attending the summit is $449 per person or $399 per person for groups of six participants or more. Register at www.franklincoveyleadershipsummit.com or call Debra Larson, 602.667.9227.
