A Stand-Up Comedian, an Aspiring Actress, and a Loan Collector Put Their Day Jobs on Hold for Hollywood
After more than 2,500 contestants and 7,000 online votes, the field is narrowed to three helper-hopefuls who will pack their bags for Los Angeles and the chance to appear in a national ad with Flo, Progressive’s always-happy-to-help insurance clerk.
The three finalists are:
-
Amber Preston, a stand-up comedian from Minneapolis

Jacob Doherty, a loan collector from Highland Heights, Ky.

They will test their skills with Flo in early June and the next Superstore star will be announced on the spot.
"It’s been exciting to see how far these finalists have come,” said Flo. "And I’d be super psyched to share the Superstore spotlight with any of them.”
"With the turnout and quality of the talent pool these three faced some nail-biting competition,” said Brian Silva, Progressive’s Chief Marketing Officer. "We can’t wait to see them interact with Flo and determine who is going to add ‘Superstore helper’ to their resume.”
The winner will appear in a national print ad this summer and a television commercial later this year.
