Semiconductor and Nanotechnology Customers Vote Advanced Energy Among the World's Best Suppliers in the Subsystems category, #1 in Process Power
| FORT COLLINS, Colo., May 20, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Advanced Energy Industries, Inc. (Nasdaq:AEIS) announced today that it has been named one of the world's best suppliers in the VLSIresearch 2015 Customer Satisfaction Survey. Ranked among the top subsystem suppliers in THE BEST awards with an overall 8.53 rating, Advanced Energy (AE) led the process power segment as the #1 supplier of power-delivery solutions. VLSIresearch, an independent organization dedicated to market research and analysis for the semiconductor, nanotechnology and related industries, named the standout companies on May 20 after the annual international survey results were released. In the only publicly available opportunity to provide feedback about their suppliers, customers responded to a two-page survey questionnaire, available in five different languages, rating suppliers on a 10-point scale among 15 categories. The highest rated categories for Advanced Energy included:

About the 2015 Customer Satisfaction Survey VLSIresearch received feedback from more than 96% of the chip market, 82% of the subsystems market, and 32% of the solar market for this year's survey. The survey spanned two and half months and covered five languages. Worldwide participants were asked to rate equipment suppliers among fifteen categories based on three key factors: supplier performance, customer service, and product performance. 3,842 suppliers were rated, resulting in 57,207 total responses. The VLSIresearch annual Customer Satisfaction Survey is the only publicly available opportunity since 1988 for customers to provide feedback for suppliers of: semiconductor equipment, solar equipment, and subsystems. The 10 BEST and THE BEST awards provide special recognition to suppliers that are rated highest by their customers. 10 BEST awards recognize each chip making equipment supplier as a whole, regardless of product type:
