Advent Software Q3 Profit Rises - Quick Facts

(ADVS), a provider of software and services to the global investment management industry, reported that its third-quarter net income increased to $9.8 million or $0.18 per share, from $7.7 million or $0.15 per share, last year. Adjusted net income was $16.92 million or $0.31 per share, in the third quarter of 2013.

On average, four analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to report profit per share of $0.28 for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

Revenue rose to $96.8 million, from $90.2 million, a year ago. Analysts expected revenue of $94.64 million for the quarter.

Advent Software now expects its fourth-quarter revenue in the range of $95 million to $97 million, and full year revenue in the range of $380 million to $382 million. Analysts expect the company to report fourth-quarter revenue of $95.69 million, and full year revenue of $378.93 million.
