McKesson Corp. (MCK) gained over 1 percent to $233.00. The company's fourth quarter profit attributable declined 64 from the year-ago quarter, while revenues improved 19 percent. The company issued a postive outlook for fiscal 2016 and also announced a new authorization to buyback up to $500 million of its common stock.

American Express Co. (AXP) was up 1 percent to $80.25. The company announced its plan for the repurchase of up to 150 million common shares and also raised its quarterly dividend by 12 percent.

Zillow Group, Inc. (Z) gained half a percent to $98.50. The company's first quarter adjusted earnings per share topped Street view, while its net loss widened from the year-ago quarter. Revenue for the quarter surged from the prior year period, but missed the consensus estimate. Hortonworks, Inc. (HDP) gained 10 percent to $24.10 as the company's first quarter results topped Wall Street view. The company also forecast revenue for the second quarter and full year 2015 above analysts' estimates.

Vertex Pharmaceuticals Inc (VRTX) rose 8 percent to $134.00 based on the news that the U.S. Food and Drug Administration's Pulmonary-Allergy Drugs Advisory Committee has voted 12 to 1 to recommend the approval of Orkambi for use in people with cystic fibrosis ages 12 and older who have two copies of the F508del mutation in the CFTR gene.

GoDaddy Inc. (GDDY) declined 2 percent to $26.20 after reporting its first quarterly report since going public last month. The company's first quarter net loss narrowed from the year-ago quarter. Revenue for the quarter rose 17.5 percent and topped the consensus estimate.
