Agile Software Development Leader Valtech Strengthens Management with New COO, U.S. CEO and Sales Directors

Valtech SA, a global provider of strategic software consulting, lean and agile software development, and skills training and coaching, today announced several senior management and sales hires.

Tomas Nores was appointed Valtech’s chief operating officer for the U.S., Germany and India and John Galioto was appointed North American CEO & managing director. They are joined by Christopher Sullivan, director of global sales, and James Noblitt, director of sales for Valtech North America.

Mr. Nores is defining, streamlining, and aligning processes to globally maximize Valtech’s unique regional talents across the 800+ person company. Mr. Nores has more than 17 years of leadership experience at global organizations in the media, telecom, technology and software sectors. During the previous 12 years with Novedia Group and Alcatel-Lucent, Mr. Nores spearheaded marketing and sales. He holds an M.B.A. from the M.I.T. Sloan School of Management.

Mr. Galioto brings more than 24 years of IT consulting and management experience to Valtech. He has helped many Fortune 500 clients build business value through strategic consulting and managing systems development and integration projects. Prior to Valtech, Mr. Galioto was chief operating officer at ThoughtWorks, Inc., where he was responsible for managing the company’s day to day business. He was previously U.K. managing director and a U.S. vice president during his five-year tenure there. Earlier, Mr. Galioto worked at American Management Systems (now CGI) in technical and management roles, advancing to vice president, heading the global trade finance practice. Mr. Galioto holds an M.B.A. in finance and information systems from New York University’s Stern School of Business.

As director of global sales, Chris Sullivan is building and managing Valtech’s business development efforts, forging strategic partnerships, aiding recruitment, and advising staff development programs. A frequent industry speaker, Mr. Sullivan is an Agile Alliance member and a board member of Agile NY. Previously, Mr. Sullivan was manager of professional services for Fortune 1,000 firms at Navillus USA. Prior to that, he was global business development manager of Finetix LLC, acquired by SunGard. There, Mr. Sullivan helped the company grow dramatically while engaging clients in risk management and capital markets. Sullivan holds a B.A. from Roanoke College.

As director of sales for Valtech North America, James Noblitt has direct responsibility for sales and revenue generation for Valtech's agile software development and training portfolio of services across all lines of business. With more than 20 years experience at EDS/Sabre and American Airlines, Mr. Noblitt is comfortable managing large customer technology portfolios and designing and implementing business software and customer-facing applications. At EDS/Sabre, Mr. Noblitt was responsible for more than $70 million in annual revenue and a global engineering and operational staff.
