AirMedia Gets Right To Install Wi-Fi On Ordinary Trains Of Beijing Railway

(RTTNews) - AirMedia Group Inc. (AMCN) Monday announced Guangzhou Meizheng Advertising Co., Ltd., in which it has majority equity interest, has received an exclusive right to install and operate Wi-Fi systems on ordinary trains operated by Beijing Railway Bureau. The right covers 89 groups of ordinary trains in operation.

Guangzhou Meizheng, in which AirMedia has 63.2% of the equity interest, will start installing Wi-Fi systems on ordinary trains in June 2015.

Meizheng also holds the concession rights to exclusively install and operate Wi-Fi systems on the high-speed trains operated by Beijing Railway Bureau.
