American Apparel Q3 Loss Widens

(RTTNews) - American Apparel, Inc. (APP) reported a net loss for the third quarter of $19.2 million or $0.11 per share, compared to net loss of $1.5 million or $0.01 per share for the year-ago quarter.

Results for the latest quarter include $14.9 million, or $0.09 per share, related to unusual and non-recurring costs. Results for the year-ago quarter included $6.1 million, or $0.05 per share, related to unusual and non-recurring costs.

Net sales for the third quarter fell 5% to $155.87 million from $164.54 million a year ago.

The company reaffirmed its full year 2014 adjusted EBITDA guidance of $40 million to $45 million.
