American Electric Power Co Inc Reveals 20% Fall In Q1 Profit

(RTTNews) - American Electric Power Co Inc (AEP) reported a profit for first quarter that fell from last year.

The company said its earnings totaled $501.2 million, or $1.02 per share. This was down from $624.8 million, or $1.28 per share, in last year's first quarter.

The company said revenue for the quarter fell 13.0% to $4.0 billion. This was down from $4.6 billion last year.
