Amkor Appoints Gil C. Tily General Counsel
Amkor Technology, Inc. (Nasdaq: AMKR) today announced that Gil C. Tily
has joined the company as Corporate Vice President and General Counsel.
Mr. Tily will be responsible for managing all aspects of Amkor’s
legal affairs.

said James Kim, Amkor’s Chairman and Chief
Executive Officer. "His strong background in
federal securities law compliance, corporate governance issues and
complex corporate finance transactions will be valuable as we move
forward with the next phase of Amkor’s growth.”
Mr. Tily, 53, joins Amkor from the Dechert LLP law firm where he worked
for 28 years, most recently as a partner in the Philadelphia,
Pennsylvania office. His areas of concentration included public and
private debt and equity offerings, mergers and acquisitions, and
advising clients on federal securities law and corporate governance
issues including Sarbanes-Oxley compliance matters. He is a graduate of
Princeton University and the University of Pittsburgh School of Law. Mr.
Tily is also a member of the Pennsylvania and New Jersey Bar
Associations.
In his new position, Mr. Tily will be located in Amkor’s
headquarters offices in Chandler, Arizona.
