Andersons, Inc. To Combine Turf & Specialty, Plant Nutrient Groups

(RTTNews) - Andersons, Inc (ANDE) Monday said it plans to combine the Turf & Specialty and Plant Nutrient groups into a yet to be named operating group, with leadership changes to come at the first of the year and complete integration and reporting changes scheduled for later in 2015.

The company's COO, Hal Reed, said the move will offer additional growth opportunities and enhance profitability.

Bill Wolf, president of the plant nutrient business, will lead the combined group. Tom Waggoner, president of the Turf & Specialty unit, will take up a new role in the company as corporate vice president, Marketing and Operations Services.
