Apollo Education Reports Q1 Adj. EPS From Cont. Ops. Of $0.44 - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - Apollo Education Group, Inc. (APOL) reported that its first-quarter income from continuing operations decreased to $32.47 million from $99.43 million, prior year. Earnings per share from continuing operations attributable to Apollo was $0.31, compared to $0.87. Excluding special items, income from continuing operations attributable to Apollo Education Group for the first quarter 2015 was $47.8 million, or $0.44 per share.

On average, 12 analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to report profit per share of $0.42 for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.
