Arcis Solutions Announces Security Printing Breakthrough
MARKHAM, ON, Oct. 6, 2017 /CNW/ - Arcis Solutions Inc. is unveiling Digital Image Pantograph (DIP), a new patent pending technology for digital security printing at the thINK 2017 Conference. Judy Wu, Chief Technology Officer explains how this technology bolsters existing document security technologies: "For the very first time, we can incorporate a copy evident security feature into a full color image or photograph. Sensitive documents are thereby imbedded with a security pantograph that is only made visible once the document has been photocopied. This is the first security technology that is only offered on the digital platform, and has already been certified for use on all Canon Production Digital presses/printers. It is not offered for offset presses."
This new capability is able to secure colored documents previously vulnerable to forgery. DIP goes beyond the protection of checks and financial documents by providing a user friendly technology that can be used to protect almost anything on print including IDs, tickets, permits, coupons, books, passes etc.
Managing Director of Arcis, Kirk Corkery emphasizes that, "many companies may not be aware of how easy it is to provide document protection against alteration and duplication. Every sector in our economy should be taking basic precautions; it's not only for financial documents."
Digital Image Pantograph will be released for licensing effective Oct 18th, 2017. It is part of the DUPE PROOF™ technology suite, an industry standard for hardcopy print security with millions of protected documents using these patented technologies every day.
Arcis Solutions Inc. is the world leader in the development and licensing of digital security printing technology. It also licenses technology for the traditional offset presses. Using Arcis' patented technologies, Customers are able to protect their hardcopy documents from tampering and unauthorized duplication. www.arcis.solutions.
