ARM Q3 Pre-tax Profit Climbs, Sees FY Revenue In Line With View

(RTTNews) - UK-based chipmaker ARM Holdings Plc. (ARM.L, ARMH) said its third-quarter IFRS profit before tax increased 30 percent to 102.9 million pounds from 79.2 million pounds in the previous year.

On a normalized basis, profit before tax was 128.4 million pounds, while it totaled 101.2 million pounds last year.

Earnings per share rose to 6.06 pence from 4.57 pence.

Revenue increased 17 percent to $375.5 million from $320.2 million in the prior year, and increased 24 percent in pounds.

Looking ahead, ARM said it enters the final quarter with strong royalty momentum, as indicated by industry and customer data, and a healthy licensing pipeline. The company expects group dollar revenues for the full-year to be in-line with market expectations.
