Atlantic Tele-Network Q1 Profit Declines

(RTTNews) - Atlantic Tele-Network, Inc. (ATNI) posted first-quarter net income attributable to company stockholders of $7.8 million or $0.49 per share, compared to $8.8 million or $0.56 per share in the comparable quarter last year.

Income from continuing operations were $10.4 million or $0.49 per share, down from $5.9 million or $0.31 per share in the year-ago period. On average, two analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to earn $0.38 per share for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

Revenues rose 16% to $75.17 million from $64.83 million last year. Analysts expected revenues of $70.04 million.
