Aurinkomatkat Suntours Head Tuomo Meretniemi Leaves Finnair Group

Tuomo Meretniemi is stepping down from his position as Managing Director of the Finnair Group’s Aurinkomatkat Suntours tour operator, effective 24 April 2014. Timo Kousa, Managing Director of Finnair Travel Retail, will become Managing Director of Aurinkomatkat Suntours on an interim basis while also continuing in his role for Finnair Travel Retail.

"I wish Tuomo every success in his new endeavors. Aurinkomatkat will remain in safe hands with Timo Kousa, who has demonstrated skillful leadership and strategic thought at Finnair Travel Retail and I am confident he will be successful in his expanded role.”
