AutoZone Inc. Bottom Line Climbs 7% In Q4

(RTTNews) - AutoZone Inc. (AZO) announced a profit for its fourth quarter that advanced from last year.

The company said its bottom line totaled $401.14 million, or $12.75 per share. This was higher than $373.67 million, or $11.28 per share, in last year's fourth quarter.

Analysts had expected the company to earn $12.69 per share, according figures compiled by Thomson Reuters. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

The company said revenue for the quarter rose 7.9% to $3.29 billion. This was up from $3.05 billion last year.
