AutoZone Inc. Q4 Profit Rises 6%

(RTTNews) - AutoZone Inc. (AZO) released earnings for its fourth quarter that climbed compared to the same period last year.

The company said its bottom line rose to $426.77 million, or $14.30 per share. This was up from $401.14 million, or $12.75 per share, in last year's fourth quarter.

Analysts had expected the company to earn $14.26 per share, according figures compiled by Thomson Reuters. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

The company said revenue for the quarter rose 3.3% to $3.40 billion. This was up from $3.29 billion last year.
