AUXILIO earns five-year extension of Managed Print Services contract with Saint Barnabas Health Care System in New Jersey
AUXILIO, Inc. (AUXO.OB), the pioneer in Managed Print Services (MPS) for the health care industry, today announced a five-year MPS contract renewal through 2016 with the prestigious Saint Barnabas Health Care System (SBHCS) in New Jersey. SBHCS has six campuses, over 18,000 employees, 2300 beds and nearly 5,000 physicians and treats more than two million patients annually. It is the largest customer in the company’s national hospital portfolio. Securing this multi-year contract is representative of the proven value and results that AUXILIO’s MPS strategy has provided to the health care system in capturing savings, reducing print volume across the enterprise and gaining workflow efficiencies and workforce satisfaction since the partnership began in 2005.
"It is a privilege to continue our work with the Saint Barnabas Health Care System staff to support their print needs in the delivery of quality patient care,” said Lisa MacDonald, Senior Vice President, AUXILIO. "Together we have created a program that will serve as a benchmark for further MPS efforts.”
"The Saint Barnabas Health Care System set aggressive cost savings and volume reduction goals when we began our relationship with AUXILIO,” said Angela Ricco, Senior Vice President Supply Chain. "Five years later they have transformed our print environment giving us not just visibility but control over our print operations. Their expertise will be critical to the next phase of our electronic records implementation and we look forward to continuing our strategic relationship.”
"We are honored to have earned the confidence that Saint Barnabas Health Care System has in the successful execution of our MPS program and in our partnership,” said Joseph J. Flynn, chief executive officer, AUXILIO. "As the largest and one of the most revered partnerships for our company, we are pleased that the demonstrated results of savings, solutions and customer satisfaction that our company has provided since the start of our business relationship, has resulted in the renewal of another five year contract.”
This five year contract builds upon the business successes AUXILIO has earned in its escalation of new contracts, expanded master service agreements and renewals over the last 18 months. The company is distinguished in the MPS industry as the only health care exclusive, vendor neutral company in the United States. This unique market position provides its patient care customers a distinct advantage of partnering with an MPS company with the focus, experience and knowledge of the culture, nuances and specific needs required in a hospital’s print environment, and enables it to work with the widest range of print-related equipment vendors to ensure optimal solutions and highest performance at maximized savings.
