Avista Q4 Profit Rises

(RTTNews) - Avista Corp. (AVA) reported that its net income attributable to shareholders for the fourth quarter of 2018 was $45.8 million or $0.70 per share, up from $27.6 million or $0.42 per share for the fourth quarter of 2017.

Avista Corp. is initiating its 2019 guidance for consolidated earnings to be in the range of $2.78 to $2.98 per diluted share, which includes $1.01 per diluted share for the termination fee received from Hydro One and the payment of remaining transaction costs.

The company expects Avista Utilities to contribute in the range of $2.72 to $2.86 per diluted share for 2019.
