Axis Capital Holdings Q3 Profit Beats View

(RTTNews) - Axis Capital Holdings Limited (AXS) reported third-quarter net income available to common shareholders of $279.10 million or $2.68 per share, up from $137.12 million or $1.21 per share in the year-ago period.

Operating income for the quarter was $132.77 million or $1.27 per share, compared to $196.68 million or $1.74 per share in the comparable quarter last year.
