Banner Corp. Q3 Profit Rises - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - Banner Corporation (BANR), the parent company of Banner Bank and Islanders Bank, reported that its third-quarter net income increased to $14.8 million, or $0.76 per share, from $11.7 million, or $0.60 per share, a year ago.

On average, six analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to report profit per share of $0.62 for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

Net interest income increased to $47.06 million from $41.89 million. Analysts expected revenue of $46.06 million for the quarter.

Total GAAP revenue was $60.41 million, compared to $52.04 million, a year ago. Revenue from core operations increased to $58.96 million from $52.39 million, last year.
