Bazaarvoice Posts Narrower Q3 Loss

(RTTNews) - Bazaarvoice, Inc. (BV) reported a net loss for the third quarter $8.0 million or $0.10 per share, compared to a net loss of $10.8 million or $0.15 per share for the year-ago quarter.

Excluding items, adjusted net loss for the third quarter was $2.8 million or $0.04 per share, compared to an adjusted net loss of $4.1 million $0.06 per share in the prior year quarter.

Revenue for the third quarter rose 12% to $48.00 million from $42.68 million a year ago.

Analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to report a loss of $0.06 per share on revenue of $46.57 million for the third quarter.
