(RTTNews) - Beacon Roofing Supply Inc. (BECN) reported a profit for its first quarter that increased compared to the same period last year.

The company said its bottom line rose to $24.68 million, or $0.41 per share. This was higher than $12.91 million, or $0.26 per share, in last year's first quarter.
