The US equity market finished on a mixed note on Wednesday, July 31, 2013, as stocks pared their gains in late trading. However, all three benchmark indexes posted gains for the month of July. Stocks initially rose on Wednesday as market participants took notice of better-than-expected second quarter GDP data and ADP private sector jobs report.
