Bio-Techne Corp. Reveals 7% Decline In Q2 Earnings

(RTTNews) - Bio-Techne Corp. (TECH) reported earnings for second quarter that retreated from last year.

The company said its bottom line dropped to $30.41 million, or $0.81 per share. This was down from $32.83 million, or $0.88 per share, in last year's second quarter.

Analysts had expected the company to earn $0.85 per share, according figures compiled by Thomson Reuters. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

The company said revenue for the quarter rose 9.0% to $131.81 million. This was up from $120.91 million last year.
