Bloomin' Brands Swings To Q3 Profit

(RTTNews) - Bloomin' Brands, Inc. (BLMN) Tuesday reported third-quarter net income of $11.3 million or $0.09 per share, compared to a net loss of $33.8 million or $0.31 per share last year.

Adjusted earnings were $0.10 per share compared to $0.07 per share last year. On average, 13 analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to report profit of $0.10 per share for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

Total revenues for the quarter grew to $967.6 million from $952.9 million last year. Analysts currently estimate earnings of $987.85 million for the quarter.

For the full year, the company continues to expect adjusted earnings to be at least $1.10 per share, but lifted its revenues outlook from about $4.2 billion to about $4.1 billion. Analysts currently expect profit of $1.11 per share on revenues of $4.14 billion for the full year.
