BMW January U.S. Sales Up 3%
(RTTNews) - BMW of North America, LLC, a unit of Bayerische Motoren Werke AG (BAMXY.PK, BAMXF.PK, BMW.L), said Monday that combined sales of BMW and MINI brands in the U.S. rose 3% to 20,796 vehicles in January from 20,195 vehicles sold in the same month a year ago.
Sales of BMW brand vehicles increased 10.5% to 18,253 unit in January from 16,513 vehicles a year earlier, while sales of MINI brand vehicles dropped 30.9% to 2,543 units from 3,682 units last year.
