Brown & Brown Names Andrew Watts CFO - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - Brown & Brown, Inc. (BRO) Monday said it has elected Andrew Watts as its new Chief Financial Officer, replacing Cory Walker who is retiring in March. Watts will also assume the role of Executive Vice President and Treasurer, effective immediately.

Watts most recently served as the Global Head of Customer Administration for the Financial and Risk Division of Thomson Reuters, and has also acted as CFO for multiple divisions within the company, and lead numerous acquisitions and divestiture.

Watts is also the ex-CFO and co-Founder of Textera. He has also worked as a Senior Manager with PricewaterhouseCoopers in Florham Park, New Jersey, Milan, Italy and Chicago, Illinois.

In his new role, Watts will be based in Daytona Beach, Florida, and will report to Powell Brown, President and CEO.
