The initially approved drugs, including Novo Nordisk's Wegovy (semaglutide) and Eli Lilly's Zepbound (tirzepatide), are injectable. However, Novo Nordisk now has Wegovy approved in an oral formulation, and it's quickly gaining sales traction.
