CDT Equity Names Co-Founder James Bligh CEO, Shares Down

(RTTNews) - Tuesday, CDT Equity Inc. (CDT), a data-driven biopharmaceutical company, announced the appointment of James Bligh, co-founder of the company, as Chief Executive Officer.

Prior to Conduit, he spent more than a decade leading and advising on reverse takeovers, stock-market listings, initial public offerings, secondary fundraisings and M&A transactions.

"Having co-founded Conduit in 2019, I am delighted to take on the role of CEO at what I believe is an important point in the company's evolution," said Bligh.

His appointment follows a period of significant development for CDT, including strengthening the company's balance sheet, reducing its operating cost base and completing strategic investments intended to create long-term shareholder value.

On the Nasdaq in pre-market activity, the shares were trading 4.76 percent lower at $1.600, after closing Monday's trading 0.59 percent down.
