CGI Bags 5-year Contract With U.S. Army Sustainment Command
(RTTNews) - CGI (GIB, GIB-A.TO) Tuesday said it has won a five-year contract with the U.S. Army Sustainment Command for software development and support of the Integrated Materiel Management Operations Systems or IMMOS application suite. The contract has one base plus four option years.
The base year has been incrementally funded at $3.1 million. If all options are exercised, the contract value will be $55.8 million with a completion of date July 31, 2020.
The work will be performed in Alexandria, Virginia and at multiple locations within the continental United States and overseas.
The Army Sustainment Command uses the IMMOS suite to perform asset tracking and maintenance management tasks for army prepositioned stocks. This helps to assure that deploying units receive the right equipment at the right time to complete their missions.
