CGI Federal Bags 10-yr Multi-billion Dollar Contract From GSA
(RTTNews) - CGI Federal Inc. a unit of CGI Group Inc. (GIB-A.TO, GIB) Tuesday said it has been awarded a 10 year, multi-billion dollar contract by General Services Administration, under a new contract vehicle known as One Acquisition Solution for Integrated Services or OASIS.
CGI is one of 74 awardees under OASIS contract, which would allow awardees to compete on a range of program management, management consulting, logistics, engineering, scientific and financial management services. Awardees would also provide technology solutions as an ancillary service.
As a result, agencies would be able to buy high-value professional services along with supporting IT solutions through a single contract, saving customers time and money.
OASIS will be a critical solution of choice for many government agencies including the U.S. Air Force, who in December signed an agreement with GSA to use the contract for professional services.
