Chewy Q4 Net Income Declines

(RTTNews) - Chewy, Inc. (CHWY) reported fourth quarter net income of $22.8 million, compared to $31.9 million, prior year. Earnings per share was $0.05, compared to $0.07. Adjusted earnings per share was $0.28, compared to $0.18. Analysts on average expected the company to report profit per share of $0.20, for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items. Net sales were $3.25 billion, up 14.9% year over year.

"Topline growth and profitability exceeded the high-end of our guidance ranges for both the fourth quarter and full year 2024," said Sumit Singh, CEO of Chewy.
