China Lodging Group Q1 Results Top Estimates

(RTTNews) - China Lodging Group, Ltd. (HTHT) reported a net loss for the first quarter of RMB7.0 million or RMB0.11 per ADS, compared to net loss of RMB13.3 million or RMB0.22 per ADS for the year-ago quarter.

Excluding share-based compensation expenses, adjusted earnings per ADS for the latest quarter were RMB0.09.

Net revenues for quarter increased 17.1% to RMB1.21 billion from RMB1.03 billion a year ago.

Analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to report a loss of RMB0.44 Per ADS on revenue of RMB1.16 billion

Looking forward, the company said it expects second net revenues to grow 13% to 16% year-over-year.
