Chris Arens Joins Coegi as SVP of Client Development & Strategy
ST. LOUIS, May 8, 2017 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- Coegi, an independent programmatic and social media buying company, announced that Christian Arens joined the company as of May 2017 and assumed the role of Senior Vice President, Client Development and Strategy. Arens brings 20 years of advertising and marketing experience to Coegi, starting his digital advertising career at FCB Worldwide in San Francisco in the late 90's. Since then, Arens has gone on to lead media teams at Carat, digital strategy at DRAFTFCB, client services at marketing capital firm, Catalyst S+F and most recently lead the iMedia events organization as Managing Director North America. He has also co-authored a leading college-level textbook, Contemporary Advertising, and has helped build a number of start-ups through hands-on execution and ongoing advisement.
"Coegi's commitment to democratize the media-buying landscape and offer independent agencies the same opportunities afforded to the holding company entities is what initially excited me about the opportunity", Arens said. "but it's the values-first mentality of the company and its commitment to transparency, quality and execution that ultimately won me over."
Founded as a privately owned company in 2014, Coegi has gained significant traction as a partner to independent agencies by providing programmatic buying in a variety of formats including display, social, mobile, native and online video. Coegi was voted as the Best Programmatic Partner at the 2016 iMedia ASPY Awards by participating agencies and is a certified managed service provider for leading technology platforms The Trade Desk, Doubleclick Bid Manager and 4C Insights.
