CIBER, Ford Motor Company, DAMA Sponsor June 7th Seminar
DETROIT, June 2 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- CIBER, Inc. , today announced it is working with Ford Motor Company and the Data Management Association - Michigan (DAMA) to sponsor a one-day seminar on data management and service-oriented architecture. The seminar will be held June 7th, 2005 from 8 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the Ford Motor Company Conference and Event Center in Dearborn.

Mike Gottwald, Analytical Pattern Owner for Ford Motor Company, William Smit, Enterprise Architecture Practice Director for CIBER, and James Parnitzke, Senior Enterprise Architect for CIBER, are featured speakers. Gottwald will discuss a non-automotive case study in data management and enterprise data warehousing issues, especially regarding systems-of-record. Parnitzke and Smit will discuss the impact of service-oriented architectures (SOA) on data management functions, such as data movement, database administration, and knowledge worker services.
