Cloud Peak Energy Confirms Fatality At Spring Creek Mine In Montana
(RTTNews) - Cloud Peak Energy Inc. (CLD) confirmed a fatality at its Spring Creek Mine in Montana at approximately 7:00 p.m. local time on June 23, 2014 in a single haul truck incident. There are no other injuries to report. Next of kin has been notified.
"Our thoughts and prayers are with the family, co-workers and friends," said Colin Marshall, Cloud Peak Energy President and CEO.
The Mine Safety and Health Administration (MSHA) and Big Horn County Sheriff have been notified and are on site. The cause of the incident is being investigated.
