Colquitt EMC Licenses ProField® to Manage its Largest AMI Project to Date

HERNDON, Va., July 25, 2013 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Colquitt Electric Membership Corporation, a not-for-profit consumer-owned electric distribution system based in Moultrie, GA, has licensed Apex's ProField^® technology to manage its upcoming deployment of the Landis+Gyr Gridstream^® RF advanced metering system.  The project, consisting of 65,000 meter exchanges within a seven-county service territory, will be the largest to date for CEMC.

ProField was designed with several feature-rich modules to give full visibility into and complete control over every aspect of field operations. "The ProField solution will greatly simplify the enormous task of changing all of our meters with a high degree of accuracy," says Milton Willis, Technical Services Supervisor at CEMC.
