Comcast Names Scott Hansen Vice President of Commercial Business Services for West Division

Comcast, one of the nation's leading providers of entertainment, information and communication products and services, today announced that Scott Hansen has been named Vice President of Commercial Business Services for the West Division.

Hansen is joining the company’s West Division team, based in Denver, to lead the commercial channel and provide support for Comcast’s business customers in Arizona, California, Colorado, Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, New Mexico, Oregon, Utah, Washington, and Wisconsin. From Comcast’s regional headquarters also in Denver, Karl Ossentjuk will continue to oversee sales and support for Colorado and New Mexico business customers as vice president of Comcast Business Class services.

In this role, Hansen is responsible for sales channel development, marketing, operations and construction for the commercial business segment. Hansen will work closely with the region leadership teams in the West Division to develop growth and profitability programs and research new business opportunities, markets and revenue streams.

Hansen most recently served as Vice President of Sales for LightEdge Solutions, where he was responsible for top-line revenue growth, customer retention, sales operations, and channel initiatives for voice, data and IT services for small and medium-sized businesses. Hansen also has more than 15 years experience in the wireless industry and served several years as Vice President Western Division, Charter Business. Hansen holds a bachelor’s degree in Pre-Law from Indiana University.
