Commercial Metals Company Reports 33% Drop In Q3 Earnings

(RTTNews) - Commercial Metals Company (CMC) reported earnings for third quarter that decreased compared to the same period last year.

The company said its profit fell to $19.33 million, or $0.17 per share. This was down from $28.71 million, or $0.25 per share, in last year's third quarter.

The company said revenue for the quarter fell 18.5% to $1.23 billion. This was down from $1.51 billion last year.
