Continental Finance Company Waives Consumer Fees in Hurricane Areas
NEWARK, Del., Sept. 14, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Today, Continental Finance Company announced actions to help customers designated in the FEMA-declared disaster areas after the effects from both Hurricane Harvey and Hurricane Irma. These actions may include:
- Allowing cardholders to skip the Minimum Payment Due for up to the next two billing cycles, for those displaced from their homes and
- Waiving Late Payment fees for up to the next two billing cycles
These waivers are only for customers designated in certain FEMA-declared disaster areas, in the Houston Metro Area and the State of Florida.
