Covanta Holding Corporation Profit Climbs 386% In Q3

(RTTNews) - Covanta Holding Corporation (CVA) announced earnings for its third quarter that climbed compared to the same period last year.

The company said its bottom line advanced to $34 million, or $0.25 per share. This was higher than $7 million, or $0.05 per share, in last year's third quarter.

The company said revenue for the quarter rose 1.9% to $422 million. This was up from $414 million last year.
