CryoLife Gets Pre-market Approval For Sologrip Delivery System

(RTTNews) - Tissue processing and medical device company, CryoLife, Inc. (CRY), Wednesday said it received premarket approval for its new Sologrip minimally invasive laser fiber-optic delivery system from the US Food and Drug Administration or FDA. The Sologrip delivery system is a single-use, disposable handset designed for use with the Company's Cardiogenesis transmyocardial revascularization orTMR system.

The company claimed that TMR treatment with products of its unit Cardiogenesis Corp. have been shown to have angina improvement, longer event-free survival, reduction in cardiac related hospitalizations, and increased exercise tolerance.
