CSC Positioned in ‘Leaders’ Quadrant of Leading Industry Analyst Firm’s North America Oracle ERP Implementation Services Report
CSC (NYSE: CSC) announced today that it has been positioned in the "leaders” quadrant of the Gartner report, Magic Quadrant for Oracle ERP Implementation Service Providers, North America. Published on November 30, 2010, the report presents the current vendor landscape for 17 leading companies in Oracle ERP initiatives.
According to Gartner, "The client base using Oracle E-Business Suite, PeopleSoft and JD Edwards applications for core ERP (financial resources, human resources, assets and operations) are a diverse group. This report is aimed at that group. ESPs quickly reacted to demand shifts, with a noticeable move of midtier Oracle partners away from core ERP to address the demand in edge applications. As a result, the number of ESPs that continue to have scale in core ERP resources is more limited today. Top-tier Oracle partners continue to invest in core ERP skills.”
"For decades, CSC has brought high quality services and innovation to our clients worldwide, and Oracle applications continue to be a strategic and critical component of our enterprise applications portfolio of services,” said Claude Czechowski, president of Global Business Solutions, Global Practices, CSC. "By making continued investments to deliver high-performance, tightly integrated and cost-effective solutions, we are able to meet the business needs of both large and small organizations.”
The report was authored by Susan Tan and Alex Soejarto and covers leading companies in Oracle ERP initiatives in North America.
