Curtiss-Wright Q2 Profit Tops View; Lifts FY13 EPS Outlook - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - Curtiss-Wright Corp. (CW) Wednesday reported a second-quarter net income of $33.4 million, or $0.70 per share, compared to $22.7 million, or $0.48 per share a year ago.

Net sales for the quarter increased 17% to $617.69 million from $526.39 million last year.

On average, six analysts polled by Thomson Reuters estimated earnings of $0.65 per share on revenues of $602.61 million for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

Looking ahead to the full-year 2013, the company raised its earnings to a range of $2.75 per share to $2.85 per share from its previous range of $2.70 to $2.80 per share. Analysts now expect earnings of $2.77 per share for full-year 2013.

The company continues to see revenue in the range of $2.48 billion to $2.52 billion. Analysts currently expect revenues of $2.51 billion for 2013.
