Dashlane Supports U2F on New 8th Gen Intel® Core™ Processors

NEW YORK, Aug. 29, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Today, password manager Dashlane announced a collaboration with Intel for built-in Universal 2^nd Factor (U2F) support as part of new 8th Gen Intel® Core™ processors. Dashlane is the first password manager to implement this new technology, a key component of the new 8^th Gen Intel® Core™ processors. Now, Dashlane users do not need a second device for two factor authentication (2FA) to verify their identity, making it easy and more accessible to consumers who want to protect their personal information online.

In addition, Dashlane has been an Official Software Partner of Intel, supporting Intel Software Guard Extensions (SGX), a built-in security technology built into new Intel processors making it possible to protect passwords with hardware-enhanced security – something that's never been possible on PCs before.
