Deswell Industries Q4 Loss Widens

(RTTNews) - Deswell Industries Inc. (DSWL) said that its net loss attributable to the company for the fourth quarter ended March 31, 2014 widened to $3.1 million from $2.0 million last year. Loss per share was $0.19, compared to a loss per share of $0.12 in the previous year.

Net sales for the fourth quarter were $7.9 million, a decrease of 16.5% from $9.5 million in the previous year.

The company also announced that its board declared a cash dividend of $0.05 per share for the fiscal fourth quarter ended March 31, 2014. The dividend will be payable on June 30, 2014 to shareholders of record as of June 20, 2014.
