DGSE Names James Clem CEO To Replace James Vierling

(RTTNews) - DGSE Companies, Inc. (DGSE), jewelry and bullion products dealer, Monday said James Vierling has resigned as chief executive officer and director to accept a position with the precious-metals conglomerate Elemetal, LLC, which is the largest shareholder of DGSE.

The company has named James 'Dusty' Clem as CEO, president and chairman. Clem became the company's COO in December 2012, prior to which he was DGSE's vice president of Sales and Marketing. He also worked as COO for Heritage Organization, LLC, an estate planning firm.

Further, the company said it has appointed CFO Brett Burford to the Board of Directors to replace Vierling's role in the Board.
