DHI Group Q2 Results Beats View; Plans To Sell Slashdot Media - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - DHI Group, Inc. (DHX), formerly known as Dice Holdings, Inc., reported that second-quarter net income declined to $5.68 million or $0.11 per share from $7.21 million or $0.13 per share in the prior-year quarter.

On average, six analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to report earnings of $0.10 per share for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

Revenues for the quarter declined 1 percent to $65.80 million from $66.54 million in the same quarter last year. Analysts had consensus revenue estimate of $64.91 million for the quarter.

However, revenues increased 1 percent year-over-year in constant currency.

Looking ahead to the third quarter, the company expects earnings in a range of $0.10 to $0.11 per share, on projected revenues, excluding Shashdot Media, between $60.5 million and $62.0 million. Analysts currently expect the company to report earnings of $0.14 per share on revenues of $67.52 million for the quarter.

DHI Group said it plans to sell the Slashdot and SourceForge businesses, together referred to as "Slashdot Media", and has engaged KeyBanc Capital Markets Inc. to act as its exclusive financial advisor in connection with such a transaction.

For fiscal 2015, the company now forecasts earnings, excluding Slashdot Media, in a range of $0.40 to $0.43 per share, compared to the prior range of $0.46 to $0.50 per share. The company now expects revenues in a range of $244 million and $251 million, excluding Slashdot Media, compared to the prior range of $263 million to $271 million.

The Street is currently looking for full-year 2015 earnings of $0.47 per share on revenues of $264.86 million.
